The condition of the fledgling healthcare business of UPS remains in good stead, as the company announced today it has been selected by pharmaceutical manufacturer Merck & Co. Inc. to manage a “significant portion” of Merck’s U.S. distribution of pharmaceuticals and vaccines, as well as provide package transportation services.
